STATE VODKA
HAND-CRAFTED BRANDING.
After being hired to bring a new Vodka brand to life, I noticed the existing brand had it’s own possibilities. State Vodka was the first brand of Vodka under Tim Walpole. Updates were discussed, and eventually we ended up pouring all of our efforts into State. We revamped all of the labels, created a ton of collateral, and turned around their social media strategy.
This was my first completely independent branding project.

After a quick review, the bones of the design were intact, but there were definitely areas for improvement. A few rounds of iterations later, we landed on a label with a refreshed logo, more compositional balance, text with hierarchy, and a metallic effect to help it stand out on the shelves.
LABEL DESIGN
ADD A LITTLE BIT OF… SPICE.
While the labels are clean and stark, we knew the social media had to have more life. Combining images of good times, vibrant colors, and playful messaging has led us to an eye-catching style which opens a ton of creative avenues to pursue in the future.
